Roschell Santee is the mother of three, Shantel, Rachel, & Frank. I am the proud wife of former Houston Astros Pitcher Robert Charles Santee and hall of famer for basketball . I have 5 magnificent grandbabies and 4 great grandbabies. For the past 11 years I have been working in ways to help educate and elevate women of Domestic violence. Some women are born into violent home back grounds, others are placed in harm’s way due to little or no education, and then there are others with just low self esteem. We should never look down on anyone, unless we are helping them up and with being said. My goal is to help other young and older women not to feel as though they have to walk the walk of shame. We are to educate our young women at an early age that like James Brown said without an education you might as well be dead. We have created a small prayer group that allows women and children to call in and express their pain while at the same time sharing the word of God to give them strength, sometimes until the sun rises. My husband and I are active in feeding the homeless every Tuesday and twice a month on Sundays. I am a prayer warrior and church announcer for Holy Trinity Deliverance Church. I assist one a month with going to the Star of Hope Women’s shelter in Houston Texas with prayer and collecting clothing for those that are in need. I take care of my 79 year old mother and my sister that has a mental condition. You see I give all glory to God for allowing me to be used as a vessel to glorify him. Does it get hard sometimes, yes and I just ask God for another little nudge to finish my race.
