Patricia McClanahan is known for her dedication and service to mankind. Her willingness to serve comes from Philippians 2:3-4…which says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.”
Patricia is a native of Baton Rouge, La. She is the youngest of her three siblings. She is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, received an Associate Degree from Baton Rouge Community College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern State University.
She is employed at Baton Rouge Community College where she has served for 23 years. While maintaining a high level of excellence in her various roles at the college, her focus is and has always been student access and success.
Patricia is a member of Church of Life Fellowship where she faithfully serves as the program/event coordinator, a greeter and chair of the church of life teen academy.
She is also serves as a member of the Baton Rouge Branch of the NAACP, Co-chair for the Louisiana NAACP State Conference Women in NAACP committee, and a member of Top Ladies of Distinction Nonpareil Chapter.
Patricia is married to Michael McClanahan and together they have two beautiful children Y’Mine and Torin McClanahan.
