Kathy Victorian, originally hailing from Ferriday by way of Frogmore, Louisiana, boasts an impressive career spanning over two decades in the fields of Public Relations and Marketing. She has successfully navigated both the private and public sectors before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey. A proud alumna of Southern University and A & M College, Mrs. Victorian holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Broadcasting and furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in mass communications. Her academic journey culminated with an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Currently, serving as the Medicaid Territory Marketing Manager at Healthy Blue Louisiana (Elevance Health), Mrs. Victorian’s accomplishments include receiving the 2009 MLK Humanitarian Award from the Beta Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, graduating from the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Leadership Program (2009), receiving the Louise McFarland Award for Excellence in Public Health Communication, and being honored as the 2010 Mid-South Louisiana’s Do-Gooder of the Year. Mrs. Victorian/s commitment to community service is evident through her roles as the past president of the Junior League of Baton Rouge, former chair of both the Louisiana Art and Science Museum (LASM), and Habitat for Humanities of Greater Baton Rouge. In 2016, she earned recognition from the American Cancer Society as one of Baton Rouge’s Best Dressed, followed by her participation as the 2016 Dancing for the Big Buddy Star Dancer, 2017 Susan G. Komen Big-Wig, and her inclusion in the 2018 Baton Rouge Business Report Influential Women in Business list. She also received the Emerge Centers’ 2019 Baton Rouge Volunteer Activist Award, was named an Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser in 2020 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Baton Rouge Chapter (an honor she shares with her husband Michael) and was selected as a 2022 Tulane Early Childhood Policy Leadership Institute Fellow and a 2023 Louisiana Art and Science Museum Stars of BR Honoree.
