Chrisdyana Morgan is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. She is the mother of Brooke Kelise Williams who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in May 2018. She is currently employed by East Baton Rouge Parish School System as an Educational Diagnostician.
She is a member of Little Antioch Baptist Church of Liberty, Mississippi. She serves as President of the Amite River Baptist Association – Young People’s Auxiliary, member of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, and Order of the Eastern Star, Genesis Chapter #1055. She also volunteers with Southern University Ag Center, Imagination Leads, and Compassionate Healthcare Services.
Chrisdyana often serves on panel discussions and mentors parents to help cope with accepting the Autism Spectrum Disorder. She promotes observing children as they grow so they may be detected early and receive the services needed. Chrisdyana believes that with the right help and resources, children with Autism can grow up to live a productive life.
Chrisdyana has been in education for 12 years. She received her Bachelor’s and Masters Degree from Southern University & A&M College. She recently received her certification in Early Interventionist (Birth-5 Years old), Mild/Moderate (Grades 1-5), and Educational Diagnostician in the Special Education area. She enjoys working in-group settings to determine strategic approaches to assist special needs learners. She is committed to helping struggling students find their way toward bright futures.
